Jan. 29 proclaimed day of remembrance for mosque capturing sufferers

The Liberal government has declared Jan. 29 a day of remembrance for victims of the 2017 mosque shooting in Quebec City. Ehab Lotayef, co-founder of Muslim Awareness Week, says that while many efforts to deal with the root causes have paid off, some people have become even more entrenched in Islamophobic ideas.
